    • I totally agree. There are parts of the process that can be a bit hard to understand, but thankfully there’s a huge online community of interested folks to help each other … for free!

  1. I have found this article to be a complete misrepresentation of the Luxembourg American Cultural Society. First, there is no Kevin Wester working for this organization. Maybe he used to be there, but not today.I found the Executive Director to be Sara Jacoby, who was more than helpful helping me with the process. Second, all the details listed are inaccurate: from the pricing, to how much time they spend with you, to what is included. As for the others who have commented, the process is not an easy one, and far more complicated than they make it sound. As with any other service, they charge because it’s a lot of work. Not just to make money as the article and comments suggest. This article is a joke and should not be used as an accurate depiction of the process or this organization. I highly recommend the Luxembourg American Cultural Society, but you should call to find out legitimate information on what they offer and not waste your time with this article.

    • Sounds like you actually work for LACS!
To be perfectly honest, I can’t understand how one could not figure out how to succeed applying for the application by themselves! Paying someone to do it sounds simply crazy to me!

      • lol. Don’t work there, just really appreciated their help. I was very confused by the process when I started looking into it. Especially when it came to translating everything. I don’t know where to go to get that done. Maybe I’m an idiot, but this seemed way easier.
