It came. The notarized birth certificate arrived in the mail on Saturday.

What looks like “MYMA CT.” should be “MYRNA CT.” It still made it to Illinois.

For those who don’t know, I needed this document to start my citizenship project. From here on out, all I have to do is pick up documents at the Cook County records office, which might be a living hell, but at least it’s not on another continent. Now I begin PHASE 1 of the official process. But that’s for another day and another blog post.
